Hello P1:6 Bible Study
What does P1:6 stands for? The name of the group takes off from a verse in Philippians (1:6) where Paul writes to the Church: "Being confident of this, that God who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

Our Study on Acts:

Last Sunday we finished up with Saul by looking at Acts 9:19b-31 - at least for now. Saul doesn't return until Acts 13; and when he does, LOOK OUT! You thought he was intense before? Just what till you see him then.

Before we get there, though, we have several chapters to cover. In these chapters, we are going to return to Peter and the work the Spirit does through him.

Sunday, we will look at two stories. The healing of Aeneas and raising of Tabitha (Dorcas) from the dead. Pretty cool stuff.

I've provided the links so take some time to read them before Sunday. You'll be glad you did.

Healing of the Cripple and Raising of Tabatha - Florence, Italy
by Masolino da Panicale
Just a fun fact: Dawn and I got to see this painting while on honeymoon in Florence. It is located in the Santa Maria del Carmine church, which is the location of the famous Brancacci Chapel, known for its amazing Rennaissance frescoes.
