Resettling a Congolese Refugee Family

First Christian Church, Houston, is preparing for a refugee family of 10!  They are from the Democratic Republic of Congo and have been refugees for over 10 years.  They are in need of everything imaginable for setting up a home!   Furniture, beds, kitchenware, chairs...you name it, they're going to need it.

This will represent over 40 years of relocating refugee families.  I'm inspired by that!  I'm inspired that a congregation like ours is passionate about justice and loving our neighbor in this way.

As you read this here's how you can help:  You can pray (comment to say you will), bring items you'd like to donate to 1601 Sunset Blvd (or schedule a pick up), or give a monetary donation by designating your giving to Congolese Refugee Fund.  We're having so much fun with this!!  God is good!!
